| Beschreibung | This 11-year-old Laphroaig transports you to a stony bothy on Islay, where a peat fire burns low and sea air slips in through the door. The nose opens with bonfire smoke, medicinal peat and treacle, lifted by warm baked bread.
The palate brings iodine, lemon curd and well-fired crust, balance by ashy smoke and a faint herbal note. Full yet almost dry, it carries a long shouldering finish that captured Laphroaig´s uncompromising coastal character.
