| Beschreibung | Islay peat smoke poores out of the glas with an array of evocative coastal notes from seaweed to smoked haddock and wrapped in heady peat smoke. The Palate is exactly as an avid peat-lover would wish for: bonfire ash, peat bogs, mescal and fresh citrus coming in waves through a consistant torrend of peat. Ash lingers long on the finish. This is nearly all destillate driven, the cask has served only to mature without adding a great deal of oak character! If there was such a thing as peat eau de vie, it may taste like this.
